'Bring Your Own Device' Program- Beginning 2026

Moriac Primary School operates a 1:1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program for students in Years 3–6. This program opens up new opportunities for learning, giving students greater engagement in their studies while building essential digital skills for the future. Our learning experiences are purposefully designed to foster the qualities of a lifelong learner, ensuring every child develops the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to thrive in secondary school and beyond.

In 2026, our program will take an exciting new step as we transition from iPads to Chromebooks. This shift acknowledges the growing need for students to develop the skills required to confidently use a full computer or laptop—an important capability for success in higher levels of schooling and future workplaces.

The school has engaged with Edunet Computer Services for 2026 as our preferred distributor of devices with a custom-built parent portal. Edunet has been delivering quality ICT products and services in the Victorian Education sector for over a decade and has set up a private portal for Moriac PS families which is simple and easy to use.
