Rubbish-Free Friday

Our Junior School Council have begun their first campaign / project: Make Moriac Sustainable Again!

Last week they carried out an audit by collecting all the rubbish from student Lunch Boxes throughout the school.

Apologies for the late notice, but tomorrow, they are proposing a RUBBISH-FREE LUNCH BOX DAY.

Please see the advertisement below from the Junior School Council. They will collect tomorrow’s rubbish and compare it to their ‘normal day’ audit, and also use to implement future strategies to make Moriac Super sustainable.

Living History (dress up) Day

On Wednesday 22nd of March we will be having LIVING HISTORY DAY (supported by our wonderful Parents & Friends Group). To coincide with the focus on Australian history in our Inquiry topics we will be inviting all students to come dressed in 1920's school uniforms and going back to 1922 when Moriac PS was established!

During the day we will have 1920's classroom activities as well as lunch time activities run by our Parents & Friends including a gold nugget hunt, turn of the century school yard games and a photo booth!

We look forward to everyone joining in the fun!

Please note - there is no gold coin donation required on this day.
