Over the past nine plus years I have been fortunate to be part of the leadership at Moriac Primary School.
Yesterday I received the news that I have been successful in gaining the Principal position at Bellaire Primary School, beginning next term. Although this is an exciting opportunity for me personally, for my future and for my family, it is with a very heavy heart that I will be leaving Moriac Primary School.
I have dedicated the last nine years of my life to Moriac Primary School, pausing only briefly for the birth of each of my children. I have been involved in changes in curriculum, developing the culture of the school, collaboration and the design and construction of the new buildings. I have loved working with students, teachers and families at Moriac Primary School.
Every leader wants to leave the school in a better state than they found it, I believe I have done that.
I appreciate everyone’s support over the past nine years – it will be so hard to go. My last day at Moriac Primary School will be Friday 20th September. At this stage I cannot tell you who will be replacing me. We will let you know as soon as we find out.
