PARENT SESSION The Resilience Project

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HAS BEEN SENT TO YOU VIA CARE MONKEY - PLEASE RESPOND VIA CARE MONLEY

This year we have been lucky enough to receive sponsorship from the Surf Coast Shire to be part of The Resilience Project (Senior Learning Community). As part of the project our SLC students attend a session and receive a diary. Our teachers are also trained and therefore, although the focus is on the SLC all the students in our school benefit from this project.

There will be a PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT held at the Winchelsea Football Club on MONDAY 27TH AUGUST at 7-8.30pm that will be run by THE RESILIENCE PROJECT team. Parents from the three schools involved (Deans Marsh Primary School, Winchelsea Primary School and Moriac Primary School) have bee invited to attend the parent session. This will be an invaluable experience, after just one professional development session our staff have attended they have had their eyes opened to so many things.

There will be a substantial supper provided and there will be babysitting available. Due to this we require an approximate number of parents and children (for catering and babysitting purposes).

We encourage all parents to attend this wonderful session being hosted by Surf Coast Shire.
