Cultural Diversity Week:

Diversity Disco

Torquay Library is proud to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week with a Diversity Disco. Discover some of the wonderful and varied cultures as we travel around the world through dance and music. Stories and craft to follow.

Author Encounter: Maxine Flakemore- Just Like Babies

Tuesday 10 April

Come along and meet local author and illustrator Maxine Flakemore, and hear about her new book ‘Just like babies’. This lovely picture book for young children is about having fun with how baby magpies and baby humans are similar.

This Is Not A Box!

Join us as we use our imagination to turn a simple cardboard box into a new and SUPER creation. The possibilities are endless!

Learn a new way to create intriguing sculptures, get inventive and make a cute, quirky woollen creature to take home. Ages 8+
