Community Theatre Production (Fundraising opportunity for our school)

Please see information below regarding an upcoming event. This information has been passed to the school from parent Carl Jones, with Lauren McAdam looking after ticket sales. Let’s really get behind this as not only is it a fantastic production, but also a wonderful fundraiser opportunity for the school. Please speak to Lauren if you are interested in attending.

Production:                        West of the Wall

Description:                        Set in 1989 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the desire of Clark & Connie Kent to reform the all-female supergroup from the early 1960’s,                                      The Charades, sets off a comical series of events including the reactivation of ‘Cold War’ espionage by Russian spies embedded in                                                              Australia.

Location:                              The Globe Theatre, Winchelsea (main street, opposite the Winchelsea Hotel)

When: Saturday 24th November

Time:                                     Suggest that patrons arrive at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start

Price:                                     $50.00 – includes 3 course meal and show

                                                BYO drinks (alcohol permitted)

Fundraising:                       Approx. $15 per ticket will go back to the Moriac PS Parents & Friends Assoc’n

Cast:                                      Includes parents of past and present students like Carl,  Lindy Carroll & Simone Budde; past students like Sandy Carroll, Brandon                                                             Budde, Hannah Maher & Elizabeth Hooper; and, a few other well-known local identities like Rob ‘Snick’ Cameron and Councillor, Carol                                                          McGregor.
